JOB SHADOWS

All students in grades 10, 11 and 12 are able to gain valuable experience by spending one day in a career area of their choice. Students will gain a sense of what is involved in that occupation and learn about job requirements and career paths.

Sign up for Job Shadows with Mrs. Walter in the Career Centre. You will find many choices to pick from in the Job Shadow Booklet or drop in to see Mrs. Walter and she can help narrow it down for you.
  •    Fill out the blue/yellow (trades) Job Shadow Requisition form and hand in to Mrs. Walter
  •    Once the Job Shadow is booked, you will be called to the Career Centre to pick up paperwork
  •    Get all the necessary signatures and return to Mrs. Walter BEFORE attending the Job Shadow
  •    Once the Job Shadow is finished, return ALL the paperwork to Mrs. Walter in order to receive hours for this placement.

These hours will be applied towards the 30 Transition Hours needed for graduation.
Most importantly - HAVE FUN!
