« Prom Tickets are currently on sale! Tickets are available for purchase during lunch breaks in Room 1057 April 25 through until May 6. Tickets are $50 each due to the generosity and commitment of the Grad Parent Committee organizing the event. In order to purchase tickets students must confirm they are in a calculable position to graduate, have returned or paid for overdue books/textbooks (to the library), and paid any outstanding fees (or made payment plans with their alpha administrators).
« Grad Gowns will be distributed during lunch breaks from Monday May 16 through until Wednesday May 25th. Again, in order to collect Grad cap and gown packages students must be in a position to graduate, have returned/paid for any outstanding books, paid any outstanding fees (or paid payments on pre-arranged plans), and confirmed messages for their stage crossing (their "thanks" and "plans"). The Cap and Gown package are souvenir items that do NOT need to be returned after the stage crossing, but the v-stoles were purchased through the generosity of the RSS PAC and must be returned as they leave after the stage recording. Grads who also purchased optional "keeper" v-stoles will have those provided at that time.
« The Grad Walk will be held Saturday May 28th, 2022. Grads are encouraged to gather at the Dolphins for photos starting at 3:30, and volunteers will start to gather and marshal Grads for the Grad Walk at 4:00. Our hope is that we will be able to begin the Grad Walk by 4:15 and will release a map of the route closer to the date. Grads attending the Prom are asked to meet at the Dolphins thereafter.
« The Prom is being organized this year through the continued dedication and efforts of the RSS Grad Parent Committee. The Prom will also be Saturday May 28th following the Grad Walk. Grads are asked to gather at the Dolphins at 5:00pm for transportation to Hillcrest Farms, who will be hosting the event. Students may not self-transport to and from the event.
« Because Trinity Baptist Church is undergoing extensive renovations and is unavailable for use, we will again be recording our Commencement Ceremonies on June 4th and 5th. Grads can access the final schedule for the recording on the Grad Google Classroom based on their grouping selections made in April. Students who did not make a selection have had a time assigned to them. This schedule will be available no later than Friday May 6th.  
« The Commencement Ceremony will be streamed for grads and their extended families on Friday June 24th, starting at 6:00. This video will continue to be available for viewing and sharing after this date but we encourage all grads to watch live, especially those who applied for bursaries and scholarships which will be announced in the video. No later than Wednesday June 22nd a link will be made available via a link in the Grad Google Classroom, on the RSS website, and via electronic email services.

The counselling & scholarship team will be giving the Post-Secondary Preparation #2 presentation regarding scholarships and bursaries in the library on the following dates:

Wednesday, November 24th at 10:30am (Block D)

Wednesday, November 24th at 2pm (Block C)

Thursday, November 25th at 10:30am (Block B)

Thursday, November 25th at 2pm (Block A)

Any students who plan on attending post-secondary should attend one of these sessions, even if they plan on taking a gap year next year.  Some scholarships and bursaries can be deferred for one year.  Any students who plan on submitting a COBSS application MUST attend one of these sessions.

An electronic sign up will be posted in the Grad Google Classroom on Wednesday, November 17th at 8am. Students can choose a session time that minimizes disruption of their learning.  Available sessions will be on a first come, first serve basis as we need to limit the number of students in each session.
